Working to Achieve

Activities and Clubs

In addition to our curriculum, our pupils have access to a variety of different clubs and activities each week. These aim to develop social and team working skills or be therapeutic.

Please note that due to current circumstances Friday clubs and some off site activities have been suspended.

Friday activities

On a Friday afternoon our students choose and take part in a variety of different activities  including ICT, band practice and art.

Art Workshops

During the week we are visited by an artist who works with pupils to produce art pieces. Examples of finished work can be found displayed around our school.

We have a number of specialist music teachers that come into school to provide pupils with a number of different music lessons including, guitar, keyboard, drums, violin and band practice. Pupils receive a report on their progress at the end of the year.

 Outdoor Pursuits

We often take advantage of local parks and nature spots including: Chasewater, Beacon Park, Cannock Chase,  Stafford Castle and the Wrekin.

Thanks to the M6 Toll Foundation we were able to purchase a polytunnel where each class has a spot they can grow vegetables for use in cooking lessons.
