Christmas Cards and Celebrations

Regarding the sending of Christmas cards

Dear Parents / Carers

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you regarding the sending of Christmas cards within the
school. As you are aware due to the current circumstances we are trying to reduce the amount of items
going from school to home, this sadly includes Christmas cards.

We therefore ask that instead of sending paper Christmas cards this year, that the pupils create virtual cards
using one of the 3 apps available to them on the Learning Platform. The pupils may choose to design their
own card or colour one of the templates. Instruction of how to do this will be given to the pupils in school as
well as posted on the school’s website. There will be a prize given for the most creative card.

We are collecting for St. Giles’ Hospice in the school, we ask that any voluntary donation are sent to the
school office in a labelled envelope.

Unfortunately this year the school has had to change how we do our Christmas celebrations, however we
will still endeavor to make this a fun and enjoyable time of year for our pupils, continuing many of the
traditions such as the class parties and festive activities. All upcoming actives will be detailed in our school newsletter very soon.

Many thanks for your continued cooperation
