IMPORTANT NEW update to school opening

4 January 2021 (by Craig.Orgill)

Important changes to planned school opening times start of spring term 2021

Not all pupils in a special school will be considered vulnerable just because they have an EHCP, as all of our pupils have one. Each child will be considered as an individual and their personal circumstances and special needs taken into consideration when deciding which children we can accommodate during this period of restricted opening due to restricted staffing levels.

KS3 pupils: Will start 18th January as in the previous news post.

KS2 pupils: Due to staffing levels, school will open on 5th January for children of key workers and vulnerable children only. You will receive a telephone call if your child IS to attend. Online learning will be provided daily and staff will be contacting pupils with details of zoom sessions and online work set. Please ensure your child checks their school email. If you have any issues with connection or access to either the internet or a suitable device, please contact the school as soon as possible using the below details.

Any key workers with children in KS3 should notify office@chasetowncommunity.staffs.sch.uk, complete the online Key Workers form using the below link OR contact the Headteacher, Linda James on 07834747981.

We will keep you up-to-date on any changes.
