School changes after Summer half term

28 May 2021 (by Craig.Orgill)

Information on changes that will occur after the half term holidays.

Date: 28.05.2021

Dear Parents/Carers

I trust this letter find you and your families safe and well. Please accept my thanks for taking the time to complete the
questionnaire that was sent out. We have taken account of your views and so I am writing to outline some of the
changes that will be put in place after half term. We are very proud of how are students have adapted to previous
restrictions and hope the new changes allow us the gradual steps to returning to how school life was before, whilst
incorporating the best practice lessons we have learnt.

Arrival & departure of children;

The school day will return to 8:50am – 3:25pm Monday to Friday and 8:50am – 2:25pm on Fridays.
Children brought to school by their parents/carers should arrive by 8:50am and will leave 3:15pm Monday to Thursday
and 2:15pm on Fridays.

Children arriving by Taxi should arrive between 8:50am – 9:00am and will leave at 3:25pm Monday to Thursday and
2:25pm on Fridays.

School Meals

Children will return to eating their lunches in the dining room. This will be limited to 1 bubble for 3 classes at any one
time. This will enable children to choose their meal on the day. A menu is available on the school website or from the school office on request.

P.E.

Children should continue to come to school in their P.E. Kits on the day their class has P.E.

Movement around the school

We will continue to operate social distancing when moving around the school and limiting pupils mixing within class
bubbles.

School Uniform

All children should now be wearing full school uniform on non P.E. days – if you require financial support in replacing a
school uniform please contact the school office. We have a supply of good quality school uniform which is available free
of charge.

Please continue to notify the school of any confirmed cases of COVID-19 during the holiday week.
We are looking forward to an enjoyable summer half team, reintroduction school activities and visits as appropriate, in
accordance with our COVID risk assessments.

If you have any questions regarding the changes, please contact the school office by telephone or email.
We thank you for your continued support and wish you all a pleasant half term holiday.

Kind Regards

Linda James
