Return to school in September

19 July 2021 (by Craig.Orgill)

Message from the Headteacher

Dear Parents /Carers,

I hope this letter finds you and your families safe and well.

Looking back to last September; we welcomed pupils back with many different ways of working. Who would have thought that one year on we would only just be relaxing the restrictions!

Myself and the staff cannot thank you enough for the tremendous support you have given to us not only during the last year but during the last 18 months. You and your families have faced numerous challenges and difficulties juggling going to work along with becoming home teachers, often at short notice.

We are now focusing on the new school year, looking forward to returning to some sort of normality. Our focus will be on addressing both the learning and emotional needs of our pupils.

As you are aware school will reopen to all pupils from September. Staff training is in place for the first week in September. All pupils will return on Monday 6th September 2021. As parents requested in our recent questionnaire we will continue with the staggered start and finish times and pupils can come into school in their P.E kit on the day they have physical education.

I will be writing to you again before September with up to date information.

Stay Safe.

Kind Regards,

Linda James
